Description
Alzheimer's is not just a disease of old age. Younger-onset Alzheimer's affects people under 65, with many in their 40s and 50s living full lives with families and careers. Families facing a younger-onset diagnosis are often misunderstood and under-resourced. Join us for a powerful and inspiring event as we screen Shifting the Narrative: The Story of Lorenzo's House, a short film about one family's journey with younger-onset dementia that led to a sanctuary of hope and light for families everywhere. Following the screening, we'll host a dynamic panel discussion featuring young adults and families affected by younger-onset Alzheimer's disease. Resources for families, with a special emphasis on children and young adults affected by this disease, will be shared.
